Located in South Tynside, Libra Seafood Processing Ltd is a privately owned, independent processor of seafoods.

We have a brand new EU approved factory, fitted out to the highest standards with the latest technology and we are BRC approved (British Retail Consortium).

Our EU approval number is: UK ST 014 EC.

We can offer a complete and comprehensive range of services for our customers.

• Unloading, sorting and storage of products in our own purpose built cold store.
• Full quality control checks including microbiological testing if required.
• Breakdown and strip off packaging and thawing of frozen blocks.
• Additives e.g. STPP etc as specified.
• IQF raw glaze and pack as required.
• Cook or blanch IQF glaze and pack.
• Breakdown, glaze and pack IQF product as required.
• Breakdown and repack.
• Positive release if required.
• Quotations for any specialist work as required
